Maybe you went on a road trip and figured it all out, or had a psychic tell you to take care of your feet, or survived, or learned to use your loss in a new way. In this safe space we will use methods that explore the outlying regions of our memories. Through numerous exercises we will explore our memories and allow them to transform from experience to narrative. Our goal will be to create narratives that heal the reader as purely as it healed the writer. There will be in class exercises and some out of class explorations. Outside reading will include selections from narratives of healing:  Matthew Sanford, Roberto Bolano, Kate Borenstein and Alice Walker, among others.  This class is open to all genders. Accessibility: This venue is wheelchair accessible, with a ground floor entrance. Please inquire for more info..

Fanning the Flame: One on One Course

This is a build your own course that you and I co-create together. There are two, hour long, in person meetings at the beginning and the end of the session, and writing assignments and reading are established to best fit the needs of the individual student. This is a great launching off point for those looking to find their voice and is also a powerful option for those needing to fan the flame of your own writing process.

I’m very excited to be offering a weekend long writing intensive at my home in Vashon Island. More information will be available soon.

Testimonial: I had a project that I wanted to work on but the whole idea was so huge and overwhelming that I had no idea where to start. Working with Corinne individually calmed my panic and gave me the direction and accountability I needed. Corinne also encouraged me to attempt projects I would have been too insecure to try on my own like pitching a story to the Moth podcast. She has without a doubt expanded my creative process and I can see a difference in the work I am producing. I could not have tackled this project with out the one on one help from Corinne. Jessica Cashman, Psychology for Women
